• We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell or share personal data.
• Analytics, when enabled, is privacy-first: IP addresses are anonymized and we never send your search terms or any free text.
• In regions that require it, no analytics or advertising script loads until you choose “Accept” on the consent banner. Declining keeps them off entirely.
• Some outbound product links are affiliate links, clearly disclosed below.

The site is served as mostly static content and does not require you to sign in or submit personal information. We do not operate contact forms, newsletters, comments, or user accounts that store personal data. Standard server request logs (such as those kept by our hosting provider) may record technical details like IP address and user agent for security and reliability; these are not used to build advertising profiles by us.

Some preferences are stored locally in your browser to make the site work — for example, your recipe scaling and measurement-unit choices, and your cookie-consent decision. These stay on your device and are not transmitted to us as personal data.

When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. Our implementation is deliberately restrictive:

• IP anonymization is turned on.
• We never send personally identifiable information, and our event layer structurally blocks fields that could carry free text or PII (for example, raw search queries are never transmitted).
• Analytics loads no third-party script at all until it is both configured and, where consent is required, granted.

We intend to show display advertising through Google AdSense to support the site. Advertising is currently switched off and renders nothing until the domain is approved and advertising is enabled. When it is enabled:

• Ads appear only in fixed, reserved placements so the page does not jump around, and never in printouts or the step-by-step cook mode. The mobile anchor ad is dismissible.
• Google and its ad partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. In regions where consent is required, ad scripts do not load until you accept.
• You can review Google’s advertising practices and opt out of personalized ads at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to certain processing. Because this site does not collect personal information to operate, we generally hold no personal profile about you. Analytics data handled by Google as our processor is governed by Google’s terms; you can control it through the opt-outs linked above and your browser. If you believe we hold data about you and want to exercise a right, contact us (below) and we will respond in line with applicable law.

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will address it.

We may update this policy as the site evolves — for instance, when advertising is switched on or a consent platform is added. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date at the top of the page.
